I'll keep it brief

I wish that I could fix all the skin problems in the world but I cannot. But I will try my best.
What amazes me the most is when I see a beautiful young lady or a handsome young man that have serious skin problems. You know the ones, oily and seriously huge zits that pretty much want to reach out and touch you. We all know someone like this. What I knew then and what I know now has helped me in my quest to educate everyone on the benefits of Natural Skin Care.

It's it funny how we (society) will run to the nearest drug store to purchase products that the manufacturers say are safe and will fight acne. Do you really know what your getting yourself into? Be a detective and find out what others don't want you to know. Better yet be informed.

Educate yourself on different ingredients used in your favorite products, how do they work and what are the benefits to using these ingredients. The sad fact is that as long as there are certain ingredients used in skin care products, sunblock, shaving cream and hair products that irritate skin the longer it will take to get rid of acne.

I'm just saying....

Soy Massage Body Candle

I do a lot of research on skin care. I absolutely love the fact that there are so many options to choose instead of chemically enhanced skin care products that is sitting on shelves in stores. Right in your back yard you have plants that can be used to wash hair and treat different types of skin problems. I love knowing that what's in my cabinets I can use to make a facial mask. I love knowing that I can make baby powder out of two key ingredients. This is why, I have decided to delve into natural skin care.

My product line is vast. Here is another new addition, "My soy Massage Body Candle". Let me tell you. My girlfriend (Linda) I will name her. She has always been behind me since the beginning of this venture. She contacted me one day and asked about making a soy candle. Now, I am always reluctant to do anything new because I have so many products already on the market. At this point, I wasn't interested in taking on another research project, let alone trying to figure out how to make it. Let's just say, most of my product line has come from people who have asked me to research things. What's another challenge?

Let's just say that, we(Linda) have 3 wonderful scents: Chocolate Spice, Japanese Musk & Sensual massage candles. Made with Nourishing Organic Oils and Organic Soy which is vegan-friendly, environmentally safe and eco-friendly. Yum-Oh!

Not only does it burn cleaner and says lite longer but when it is cool you are still able to use it as a butter to moisturize the skin.

Thanks girl for the extra work. :)

My journey of disappointment - A learning curve

It's been a long time since I have had the opportunity to write. I miss the opportunity to share with you my natural beauty secrets. So, I thought that I would share some additional secrets about my adventures and disappointment with my business. I am sure that at one time or another in life there were disappointments. I am the first to say that it is not easy and I am the first to say that I won't and can't give up on what I truly believe in that is my skin care line.

During this journey, I realized that marketing your product or service to the right people or persons is so important in order for you to succeed. In addition to that, I realized that you can't be desperate for a sale it will never work. And I also know that you are in control to whom you sell and not the other way around. If your potential customer doesn't believe in your product or service than 9 out of 10 that person will not be back. For me, marketing is a huge factor when it comes to my business model.

My line of products are different, I make them in small batches and make them to order. I am a growing small business where I have targeted a certain target area for my organic bath & beauty products. I had to do this because I realized that I couldn't cater everyone. Everyone can't buy or afford my products. I have always said these words. My mantra if you would "I am looking for people who are looking for me" Meaning, I am looking for people who are truly interested in what I have to offer and the benefits that come with it. I have been running into the complete opposite. Now. I am picky with whom I do business with. If you are serious, I will know.

My biggest challenge is when I have to do shows. I do a lot of shows to gain exposure. When you are in a line of business like mine, opportunities come and go. I pick the opportunities that best suit my business needs. But again, it's a learning curve for me. I had the opportunity to do a huge show where I prepared weeks in advance for and was nervous and excited about the opportunity to get exposure for my business. There were vendors in all capacities awaiting the arrival of these guest, so that we could showcase our wares.
Let me just say that it was the most disappointing day ever! When you go out and do shows to there is a 99.9% chance that you may walk away with everything that you brought with you. It's a risk. Being a business owner is a risk. And I continue to learn....

I was afraid for a long time to do another event. The last event that I did freaked me out and I was so disappointed that I refused to do another. But, what I realized is that I have to change my strategy and do something different. I pride myself on being able to customize my products and make them upon request, now when doing a show things will be different. And again I learn...
Each time, that I speak to people about what I do and the benefits of it, I realize that I absolutely love my products and believe in them so much that it is what keeps me moving forward.

As I prepare for my upcoming showcase, I am now better prepared for it. My expectations are to continue to be proud of my product and sell my products and benefits to customers that are truly interested in wanting eco-friendly and environmentally safe products.

Each day I learn.
